DO YOU PROVIDE TRIALS?
Yes! Trials for any of my services are available.
These are optional, but highly recommended for all services.
Trial prices are based upon the final services required, and calculated as 50% of the total . For example:
FINAL SERVICES REQUIRED: Classic makeup ($80) + Natural Lashes ($10) = $90
TRIAL PRICE: (50% of $90) $45.
If you are unsure what final service you will be require (and are using a trial to figure that out!) there will be a flat fee of $40 to secure the booking. Once final services are agreed upon, the difference will be added.
Trials are just that: a try! They are not a full service, and will be considered a time to experiment or perfect details. Although possible, do not expect to walk out of trial session with a complete look.
The price of a trial is not redeemable towards your final service.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes. I travel anywhere in Canada.
I am also happy to travel abroad, depending on location. Previous destinations have included the UK, France, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and the USA.
Travel expenses are not included in all prices.
All travel expenses will be discussed and price agreed upon before any booking is made.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WEDDING AND REGULAR SERVICES?
Wedding makeup is a totally bespoke service, with more included than a regular private client. These extras will include (but are not limited to) more preparation pre-wedding day, declining to book services with other clients the same day to provide full attention to the wedding party, working under restricted time pressure to ensure all clients are completed quickly, etc.
WHAT MAKEUP DO YOU USE?
My kit has a large range of makeup and skincare. However some brands that feature heavily are:
CHARLOTTE TILBURY / NARS / KRYOLAN / ILLAMASQUA / INGLOT / URBAN DECAY / DERMALOGICA / MILK MAKEUP / DIOR / YSL / REN / TATCHA / DR.JART+ / MAC / BOBBI BROWN
All makeup has been personally chosen by myself.
If there any brands that you would like to be used or omitted I am happy to accommodate.
I REQUIRE TOUCHUPS/LOOK CHANGES THROUGH MY EVENT. CAN YOU STAY?
I am happy to stay throughout the duration of an event if needed, and only with booking in advance.
I will provide makeup touchups/look changes only for pre-agreed persons.
There is a $25 per hour charge for additional time spent at an event after the initial service.
You are not required to provide any extra resources such as food. However, I will need a space (such a side room, a quite hallway, or large bathroom) to set up a small makeup station that is away from a crowd.
DO YOU WORK COLLABORATIVELY?
I work with photographers, models, stylists etc, both professional and hobbyist on a regular basis, so I am more than happy to do so.
For events where the photographer/model etc, is being paid or will make a profit, I only work for pay. For rates please see SERVICE MENU & PRICES
I am happy to work on a collaborative/TFP basis if I feel the work will benefit my portfolio. Please contact me directly to discuss this option.
For all work, I require a minium of 5 final images for my own use, and credits given on any work used elsewhere.
WHAT IS YOUR TUTORING & PERSONAL SHOPPING SERVICE?
These are services for anyone who is looking to expand their personal cosmetics collection, looking for the perfect bespoke makeup gifts, or to sharpen their own application skills.
This is for all budgets: whether you are looking for designers brands or to build a collection from drug store ranges.
If you have any special requirements (vegan only options, Canada based products) I will happily accommodate these.
Minimum time allocated is 4 hours per service. If you require both Personal Shopping & Tutoring this is a minimum of 8 hours (these sections can be held on different days if needed).
Personal shopping is a hands on experience - If I am shopping for products for your personal use, it is imperitive you come along. If you are using personal shopping to buy a gift, you are not required to be present for purchasing, however you are more than welcome to come along!
I am not sponsored by any brand. Any recommendations I make are just that: you are not under any obligation to purchase them and I am suggesting them because I believe them to be the best option for you, not because I make commision.
